Umaira Binti Azmi
Umaira specializes in the teaching of Mathematics in her undergraduate studies. Upon graduation, she lectured at Kolej Universiti INSANIAH, teaching Mathematics (Calculus) at the Center For Foundation Studies. Her passion for teaching Mathematics motivated her pursue a Masters in Mathematics at a local university. Joining AIIS in 2017 allowed her to grow her experience in teaching Mathematics, but now with an International curriculum. She aspires to let her students see the beauty of Mathematics.

The challenge of being a Mathematics teacher motivates me to improve my teaching skills and approaches to motivating children. Being a teacher, student and mother also teaches me to be creative when dealing with children. I love to read health and educational psychology journals to increase my knowledge in cognitive development in education.
